Demands:
As electric mobility grows across Africa, the need for stable and efficient energy support becomes increasingly important. In Burundi, while strong solar resources offer great potential, challenges such as high temperatures, humidity, and unstable grid conditions make it essential to deploy reliable energy storage systems to ensure consistent power supply for EV charging.
Solution:
PVB supplied an air-cooled energy storage system (100 kW / 230 kWh) for a solar-storage-charging project. Featuring an all-in-one design, ≥90% system efficiency, IP55 protection, and operation from –30°C to +50°C, the system is built for stable outdoor performance. It helps balance solar energy and ensure reliable power support for EV charging.
Feedback:
The customer noted that the system supports stable energy supply for the project and reliable EV charging powered by solar energy. It contributes to the development of EV infrastructure in Burundi and demonstrates the practical value of energy storage in renewable-powered mobility.
