From July 3 to 5, PVB participated in the ASEAN SUSTAINABLE ENERGY WEEK in Bangkok, presenting its innovative “PV + Energy Storage + EV Charging” solutions. The comprehensive offerings attracted a large audience, highlighting PVB’s dedication to advancing sustainable energy infrastructure in the region.

In 2023, Thailand’s newly installed PV capacity exceeded 3,000 MW, marking an annual growth of about 10% for two consecutive years. The Thai government aims to increase the total installed PV capacity to 15.6 GW by 2037, with residential installations playing a critical role. However, given the intermittency of PV solar power generation, the integration of energy storage and EV charging devices is crucial for efficient energy utilization.
In this context, PVB’s “PV + Energy Storage + EV Charging” solutions are poised to play a significant role. For instance, a complete solution includes the BYM800 Microinverter, Stacked LFP Energy Storage Battery Pack, and Smart AC EV Charger. The microinverter converts solar energy for immediate household use, while excess energy is stored in the battery packs or used to charge electric vehicles through the EV charger. This integrated approach addresses the mismatch between power generation and user consumption, reduces energy costs, enhances energy independence, and lowers carbon emissions.

Additionally, PVB offers extra user-friendly features that benefit users comprehensively:
*BYM800 Microinverter: It features plug-and-play installation and operates at low voltage for high safety. With an IP67 rating and a working temperature range of -40 to +70℃, it adapts to harsh environments.
*Stacked LFP Energy Storage Battery Pack: It offers easy installation, efficient heat dissipation, 90% depth of discharge, strong compatibility with various inverters, and supports up to 15 layers of arbitrary stacking.
*Smart AC EV Charger: Charging safety is ensured by comprehensive protection functions and energy efficiency is realized by Dynamic Load Balancing (DLB). With Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, and 4G connectivity, and OCPP 1.6J compatibility, these chargers can be smartly controlled through a mobile app for customized settings.
PVB’s participation in the ASEAN SUSTAINABLE ENERGY WEEK underscores its leading role in the sustainable energy sector. Looking ahead, PVB is committed to further innovating and expanding its integrated energy solutions, supporting the global transition to clean and renewable energy. With a focus on enhancing user experience and infrastructure development, PVB aims to drive the adoption of sustainable energy practices and contribute to a greener future.
